Create your own birdy

The DIY kit with the chosen pattern(s) will be sold at  different selling points and online in the IMAKIN Webshop. 

IMAKIN and Motiflow have a big community of followers. Your design, name and company will be mentioned and highlighted in the DIY kit, so you'll get a lot of free publicity. 

First trial run will be 25 kits. If the DIY kit is successful, we will definitely produce and sell more! And of course you will benefit.

You will always remain ownership of your uploaded pattern. So if your design is the winning one, you can still use it for other purposes.

If you win, you’ll receive €50,- and a DIY kit for yourself.

The winning design has to be a fresh and modern pattern with a graphic touch. Also the pattern has to be suitable for a toilet bag and a makeup bag. But don’t let your imagination stop by hearing the word “toiletbag” (Flush it! Let it go!). The design doesn’t have to do anything with makeup (or maybe you think it does?). Just do what you feel like! We can’t wait to be surprised. ;)

IMAKIN will pick one or more patterns that are suitable for the DIY kit, as well for her audience. So check out IMAKIN’s website, Instagram page or Pinterest for an impression of her style. The winning design will be the printed pattern (on fabric) in the new IMAKIN DIY kit - where the makeup bags will be made of.

About the design

IMAKIN makes Do It Yourself easy by including all supplies and instructions in one kit. The DIY kits from IMAKIN contain all the materials and step-by-step instructions for a design Do It Yourself project. With these kits you make your own unique interior accessories or fashion items. We really like her concept, so when we read about IMAKIN we immediately thought about doing something together.

What's in it for me?

We understand you can’t wait to start creating an awesome design for this contest. 
So, let’s sum up the guidelines:

• The contest is open to everyone

• The end product of the DIY kit is a unique toilet and makeup bag set (made from your pattern)

• But, the pattern design doesn’t have to do anything with makeup - it’s up to you

• The size of the toilet bag will be about 30 x 20 cm 

• The size of the makeup bag will be about 19 x 10 cm

• The design theme is modern and fresh with a graphic touch

• IMAKIN will pick one or more patterns that are suitable for the DIY kit

• You will always remain ownership of your uploaded pattern. So if your design is the winning one, you can still use it for other purposes

• You can join the contest until the 13th of February.

Step 2.         Upload your pattern to your Motiflow account (you’ll have to register yourself first).

Step 3.         While uploading, fill in the tag “motiflowximakin” at step 4 in the uploading screen.

Step 4.         Share your pattern on at least one social media channel with the hashtag #Motiflowximakin.

Because Motiflow and IMAKIN launch a contest! We both want to make it easy for creatives to create unique products with a unique design. So we put our heads together. The idea?  Offering designers a chance to create a pattern for the newest DIY kit of IMAKIN. And what better way than to organize a contest?
